Personalized Medication Data at Your Fingertips

An easy to use abbreviated version of the medication data sheets, also known as package insert.  This program is designed to provide you with personalized medication data for your practice.

• No need for user name and passwords, no need to carry books, pocket notebooks with chunky advertisements.
• Program is network ready for as many desktops per license location or site.

The drug classification system used called ATC, is not currently in vogue in the USA.  The system is used in Europe called Anatomical Therapeutic Chemical (ATC) as provided by the World Health Organization.  The ATC was selected as it provides more useful information for a practicing physician than current drug classifications based on chemical or pharmacological basis.

UPDATES / SUBSCRIPTION

MD Rx is a subscription based service where periodically from the website can be downloaded the newest database file. Medication listing will be added and older items will be edited as new data becomes available.

New users will receive the most updated DB; existing users will need to download updates as they become available.

NEWS FLASH!

10,000 different drugs are currently available on the market with periodic additions, such as modification to the chemical structure, dose, and or the brand name.  Staying current with the latest industry changes can be a challenge.  On average, physicians use about 300-500 medications while others approximately 1,200 different medications on any given day of their practice.  Few medications go off the market as most of them are not available at particular pharmacies or areas, but do still exist and are available upon request.

MAIN SCREEN SAMPLES

The unique search under any criteria is by typing text in the keyword field box.  A record count is provided as a reference in the event a large number of records are found.  At which point, add more text to the Keyword field box will narrow search results.

 

In addition, a column containing a medications second ingredient is displayed (at this time this field is not searchable).  However, double clicking the header for that column will open a View Only window containing additional medication data. 

 

Edits to this screen and all data contained therein can only be done by Owner or Supervisor of the program.
